After confirming her exit from The Real Housewives of New York City  last month, Carole Radziwill is now looking back on her six-season run with the Big Apple crew — and the journalist and author even threw in a little joke based on one of her more memorable musings from the series (featured in the clip above).

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Peacock and catch up on the Bravo app

"I can barely believe I lasted six seasons. I was sure you'd all tire of me after one — and some of you did," Carole wrote on Instagram. "I was happy to have participated in this cultural happening called Reality TV. Real Housewives was, by far, one of the strangest, funniest, craziest, and most unusual experiences I've ever had. I'm just glad I don't ever again have to explain what I meant when I said I had '5 good summers left.' I was being witty, sarcastic, cheeky!! I actually have 7 more left. Happy summer 2018."

Previously, Carole addressed her departure in a statement, sharing, "After six seasons on Bravo’s RHONYC, I have decided to return to what I do best — journalism and producing. I am sure this does not come as a surprise to any of the viewers, all of whom have been supportive, encouraging, and kind. My original curiosity about reality television has waned over the years and I am focusing on TV and writing projects that better suit my more steady temperament. I have worked with amazing producers, made great friends, and I’m thrilled to leave frenemies behind. I will remember this entire experience with delight, humor, and a veracious accuracy. Next."
