James Kennedy Earned Some Major Kudos from Chrissy Teigen and John Legend

James Kennedy received the ultimate belated birthday present when he appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Monday night. During his appearance on the show, Vanderpump Rules/James Kennedy superfan Chrissy Teigen called in to shower the DJ with love.

"I'm obsessed with the DJ James Kennedy. I literally, I want him at my home, at my next event. I want to book him constantly. I'm infatuated with you, James," she shared with him, via phone. "I think you are single handedly the best person — and the worst person on the planet. And I just love you so much. John [Legend] is laughing. I promise I love you. It's more love than hate."

As if that praise wasn't high enough, John, who just so happens to be pals with Kanye West, bestowed this honor on the DJ: "You're a lightning rod," he said. "He is the white Kanye," he added of maybe collaborating with James someday.

Earlier in the day, James stopped by The Daily Dish HQ, where he gushed all about the model. "I love her," he said. "She's the best."

As for that collaboration, well, James thinks he has a minute before he's ready for John. "One day though. I'll have hit him up. But I've got to wait a little a bit," he said to us. "I've got to get a couple more top tens under my belt — or, one top ten under my belt."

And while Chrissy was adamant about wanting to book James for just about anything, the DJ shared he's pretty sure she hasn't seen him play live just yet. "I don't think so. Honestly I play my biggest shows outside of L.A. because in L.A. I'm always around and I do Bootsy Bellows or Sound nightclub — all these things they're not like shows," he said. "If I go to Vegas, it's like James Kennedy in Vegas. And Chicago, there's like flyers and stuff. They don't do that in L.A. and I think she lives in L.A., right? So, it's like I wouldn't even want her to come to one of my L.A. shows cause the ones around [outside of L.A.] are the really cool ones."
