Countess Luann and Dorinda Medley hit the streets of NYC this weekend as some of the many folks celebrating gay pride. Each done up in glam outfits, the Real Housewives of New York stars headed out to participate in the annual West Village parade on June 25.
"#HappyPride #NewYork!!" Dorinda shared on Instagram, where both she and Luann posted plenty of photos and video from their weekends spent not only in the parade but also at other pride events.
"I hope you boys & girls celebrate life, #love and the pursuit of happiness like you've always DESERVED!!!" Dorinda added. "I love how much you love me. Thank you!!! #LoveWins #JusticeForAll #equality #Pride2015 #PrideNY #HappyPride."
The night before the pride parade, Luann squeezed in a surprise performance. The "Girl Code" singer performed at the BuzzFeed Pride party at the Highline Ballroom in Manhattan on Saturday (June 25).
On Friday (June 24), the same day the Supreme Court decided that states cannot prohibit same-sex couples from marrying and that doing so violates the Constitution, both Luann and Dorinda took to social media to applaud the landmark victory in the gay rights movement.
"GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!! CONGRATULATIONS BOYS AND GIRLS!!! #LoveIsLove #equality #JusticeForAll #Pride2015," Dorinda tweeted.
Luann wrote, "So happy that the Supreme Court has decided in favor of marriage equality for all. Love is love. We are all united today Xo #Love #LGTBQ."
