Cynthia Bailey Is Just As Surprised As You Are That She Forgave NeNe Leakes

NeNe Leakes made her triumphant return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta during Sunday night's episode. Considering NeNe's last appearance on the show before her departure, it was surprising, to say the least, that she broke bread with Cynthia Bailey during the episode. No one was more shocked about that than Cynthia. "I felt like my friendship with @NeNeLeakes was beyond repair. We didn't talk for 2 years. I always had love in my heart for her. #forgive," the RHOA model tweeted on Sunday.

Cynthia and NeNe's friendship has stayed strong since, with the RHOA 'Wives spotted out and about in New York and Atlanta over the past few months. "It was really great to hang out with Cynthia," NeNe told The Daily Dish in November. "And, again, we're still a work in progress. It's been a long road of recovery for us."

Cynthia is now so sure of her bond with NeNe that she has even started calling her the F-word again: friend. "After the reunion, we were in a good place. Now we are in a great place. We’re not back to being besties or anything, but we’re friends. I feel very confident in saying that we’re friends, and we’re starting to talk again on a regular basis," Cynthia told The Daily Dish earlier this month. "We needed that time to just have that time, and I think the great thing about real friendships is that I do think they can always work themselves out, but sometimes you do need some time apart."

But have the two patched things up enough to the point where NeNe has unblocked Cynthia on Twitter? "NeNe has unblocked me on Twitter and we are both following each other again," Cynthia said in her blog on Bravotv.com published Tuesday. "From the way things are going, I have no reason to believe that I will be blocked or unfollowed again anytime in the near future."

If that's not a real friendship, we don't know what is.
