Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump may have their ups and downs, but The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills actress insists that despite what some of the ladies may perceive (including Erika Girardi, who last season claimed they had a "leverage friendship" when it came to taking sides in the Yolanda Hadid Lyme disease debate), they are as tight as sisters.
When Kyle appeared on Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday, she was asked about that Erika comment by a caller. Her take on it? "That's kind of hard to say. I think it's hard for people [when] they watch the show and then they come and join the show, it's a very different situation once they're in there," she said. "Lisa and I have navigated through this show for seven years together, so I think it's probably complicated for people to understand, but we really do love each other. And at this point we've already hurt each other and we don't want anyone to hurt us and we're protective over our relationship."
In the end, Kyle shared that her relationship with Lisa is more complex than meets the eye. "I don't think anyone can really understand it. That's why when she said it, I was like, 'I don't think she really gets it,' which is OK," she said. "We literally are like sisters that fight and love each other, that's it."
