Dorinda Medley and Her Longtime Love John Mahdessian Celebrate Their Anniversary
The #RHONY couple toasts to four years with sweet words and a delicious meal.
Dorinda Medley might be facing some concerns from her friends about her relationship with John Mahdessian on the upcoming season of the The Real Housewives of New York City (clip above), but the Big Apple couple is as strong as ever. And they celebrated their fourth year together with some sweet messages and a luxe meal in Dorinda's second home of Great Barrington, Mass.
Last summer, the couple opened up to The Daily Dish about their relationship, noting that their love is strong enough to defy any reality TV relationship "curses" one might believe to exist. “Someone said to me at the beginning of the season, ‘You’re going to get the Bravo curse,’” Dorinda said last July. “I think whatever’s going on in your life, good or bad, it accelerates it. Listen, I went in there knowing I love John. I’m not going to break up with him because of Bravo. If God forbid we broke up, it would be because we broke up.”
“I love Dorinda and this is my partner and this is my best friend. No one knows the love that we have so I never doubted it," John added. "Did they throw us a couple curve balls? Absolutely. Did I strike out? Not at all. I knocked it out of the park, because look at who I’m sitting next to."
