Dr. Heavenly Kimes' Husband Dr. Damon Kimes Speaks out on Mariah Huq's Alleged Receipts

The Married to Medicine husband had a lot to say about the accusations at the Season 6 reunion.

By Laura Rosenfeld

Ever since Mariah Huq alleged that Dr. Damon Kimes has been unfaithful to his wife, Dr. Heavely Kimes, at the start of Season 6 of Married to Medicine, we've been waiting with bated breath to see if she would ever release those rumored receipts she has on the situation. Why, certainly the Season 6 reunion would be as good a time as any to unveil them to the world, right?

How to Watch

Watch Married to Medicine now streaming on Peacock and the Bravo App.

Well, this season's Married to Medicine reunion has arrived, and so far, we haven't seen any receipts presented to the group, not even a ticket stub. When host Andy Cohen asked the ladies during Part 2 of the reunion Sunday night if any of them believed that Mariah really does have receipts, no one seemed to think they actually exist, although Toya Bush-Harris noted that Mariah has "just insinuated some things."

Mariah stood by the allegations. "I would never make up anything on anybody's husband," she said at the reunion. "I didn't do anything different than what's been done to me."

She then explained that Dr. Heavenly's frequent "your momma" jokes about her mother, Lucy, made her "so mad" that it drove her to bring up the rumors about Dr. Damon. "I apologized. I shouldn't have done it. I apologize, Heavenly. I shouldn't have said it," Mariah shared. "I do not want to go down that path."

Later during Part 2 of the reunion, Andy sat down with the men of Married to Medicine, and Dr. Damon expressed that he "was hurt" by Mariah's allegations. "I was hurt because I think I've been extremely kind to Mariah. I think I've been supportive," he explained. "I usually kind of believe in 'you reap what you sew,' and I don't think I reaped anything bad."

Dr. Aydin Huq defended his wife's actions. "I think that what I'm gonna say, Damon is failing to realize is that she keeps getting pushed in that direction. Mariah didn't just come out and say that," he shared. "And I'm just gonna leave it at that."

Toya's husband, Dr. Eugene Harris, had Dr. Damon's back. "You're an upstanding guy. You've always been honest," Dr. Eugene said. "I don't think he's the type of person to cheat on his wife."

Dr. Heavenly thanked Dr. Eugene for his kind words. "Thank you, Eugene, for saying it. Thank you. He'd be the last one in this group," she said of Dr. Damon as the ladies watched their husbands chat with Andy.

Dr. Simone Whitmore's husband, Cecil Whitmore, later gave his take on the situation on Twitter. "I love @iluvmariah and I’m glad the receipts didn’t come out BUT when she brought out the accusations you have to come with the evidence even if it is bogus," he said in one tweet. In another, he wrote, "If receipts had come out it would allow this issue to end!!! The people could judge the receipts for themselves."

Mariah previously said on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in September that the alleged receipts are "available under lock and key." However, she said she has no intention of ever releasing them. "You know what, because I know things about Heavenly and her family, I still go back to my integrity. I don't want to break up a family," Mariah explained. "But I feel like you have to go there with Heavenly for her to give it. You have to give her a dose of her medicine. She has to understand how painful it is for her to carry a bone and for someone else to do the same."

Find out why Aydin was "very upset" about those receipts from Mariah's appearance on WWHL in October, below.
