The new Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen studio officially opened for business on Tuesday night, and what better way to christen it than with a performance by Erika Jayne? The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills songstress took to the Clubhouse's brand-new performance space to debut her glam new song "XXpen$ive" (clip above).

As WWHL host Andy Cohen sat in the VIP seats that once filled The Oprah Winfrey Show audience, he promised that Erika's performance would "make everybody forget Mariah's moment on New Year's Eve," and the chanteuse definitely came through — and then some. Erika and her backup dancers slayed with their sultry moves and fierce attitude. With lyrics like, "Cha-ching, it's expensive to be me" and, "Lookin' this good don't come for free," Erika's new tune sounded just as extravagant as she is.

Erika looked like "a million dollar diamond" (also lyrics from "XXpen$ive") during her performance in a black catsuit with lace detail and some thigh-high black patent leather boots. As you can see, Andy and Erika's fellow WWHL guest for the evening, Kenya Moore, were totally feeling it. How could you not?

Erika teased to The Daily Dish last August that the upcoming music video for "XXpen$ive" is going to incorporate a lot of throwback glamour. "First off and foremost, it's '80s Madonna all the way down," she previously told The Daily Dish. "There's a little Pam Anderson thrown in there, even though she's a '90s icon. All the great hair and makeup references [of that time], the supermodels of the '80s, Cindy Crawford a little bit, and that's what makes it so cool."

So what did Erika think of another recent unforgettable live performance, Mariah Carey's mishap on New Year's Eve? The RHOBH diva had a surprising response on WWHL, which you can check out below.
