Fashion Queens: the Best (and Worst) Trends Now
Bevy, Derek and Miss Lawrence on their favorite designing visionary.
Right or ratchet? Leave it to the Fashion Queens to decide what's hot (and not) in the world of style right now. And they'll be back this Sunday on Bravo to weigh in on all things fashion, from the Housewives who are giving them life to the A-Listers who are making them gag and more.
The Dish checked in with the Queens to catch up on what they're loving in the world of haute couture, the trends they hate, and the designer they think is the most visionary in 2014.
The Best Trend of 2014 So Far
Japanese buns, messy braids, tousled bobs (hair), berry lips and nude lips (make up). Keeping it simple and effortless is always on trend.
Sequins, sheer fabric and jeans. I really love the jean on jean look. You can dress it up or keep it casual.
Fluid, gossamer gowns. They are so elegant!
The Worst Trend of 2014 So Far
Bandage dresses! I’m so over them!
Patty Melt Heels. (Shoes with a really low heel) I’ll never be a fan of those!
Overalls. They make me so sad—I am so glad they are gone.
The Celebrity With the Best Red Carpet Style of the Year
As of late, Lupita has been making amazing fashion choices and Rihanna is still reigning as a fashion princess!. Of course the FIRST FAMILY OF FASHION is the WESTS! Kim, Kanye, and lil babe North are also at the top of my list!
That's has to be Rihanna and J-lo. They are always best dressed! Rihanna can do no wrong and everything she puts on is amazing and J-Lo just gets better and better with time.
The Celebrity With the Worst Red Carpet Style of the Year
I would have to say Rita Ora. She got better as the year went along but towards the beginning of the year, it seemed like she was only wearing things because her stylist told her too and not because she was felt comfortable wearing it.
The Trend You Want to See Make a Comeback
Everything I like is already here! I like booty shorts, I like sheer and those things are still around!
Which Designer Is the Most Visionary Right Now
Derek J, Miss Lawrence & Bevy Smith
Riccardo Tisci because he is a great visionary and Olivier Rousteing because he is incredibly innovative!
