Fredrik Eklund Just Bought the House of His Dreams

The #MDLNY agent will have a "new beginning" in Connecticut.

Fredrik Eklund has seen his fair share of amazing homes on Million Dollar Listing New York. However, the real estate agent just announced that he has purchased a new home in Connecticut with his husband Derek Kaplan, and it is truly something else. 'We are so happy!!!! We haven't been able to sleep here [on vacation] in London in excitement," Fredrik captioned a photo of the exterior of the new home on Instagram.

I'm excited to share with you all that Derek and I have bought a house in Connecticut. ð Here she is! We are so happy!!!! We haven't been able to sleep here in London in excitement. She's really big, she's a classic Georgian dream house with long vistas over the Litchfield hills and 8 acres of land, our land! She comes with a movie-cinema, a wine-cellar, a pond full of fish, an infinity pool and massive woods for the dogs to run in! ð Ever since I was a little boy I've dreamed of this - and just 90 minutes from Manhattan. I actually got tears in my eyes the first time I entered the master suite... I can't really describe it. Anyway, it means so much to me as I have worked so hard, and I feel thankful and happy today for this dream come true. Tonight we will celebrate with our families. #NewBeginning ð

What did we tell you? Not only does Fredrik describe this Georgian abode as something he has dreamed of since he was a little kid, but we're pretty sure this is actually the home of all of our dreams. Fredrik, if you're ever in need of some roommates, we happily volunteer.

And just wait until you hear more deets about the crib. It's got eight acres of land, views of the Litchfield Hills, and woods for Fredrik and Derek's dogs to run around in, he described on Instagram. There's also a movie theater, a wine cellar, and an infinity pool, as if this home couldn't get any cooler. "I actually got tears in my eyes the first time I entered the master suite," Fredrik wrote on Instagram. Wow.

Don't worry. Though Fredrik will soon call Connecticut home, that doesn't mean he's leaving the Big Apple behind. He noted that his new house is only 90 minutes from Manhattan.

"Anyway, it means so much to me as I have worked so hard, and I feel thankful and happy today for this dream come true," Fredrik wrote. "Tonight we will celebrate with our families. #NewBeginning."

That celebration should include some high kicks, naturally. And get ready for more high-kicking adventures when MDLNY returns for Season 5 on Thursday, April 21 at 9/8c.
