That was fast!
Fredrik Eklund and his partner Derek Kaplan put their gorgeous Manhattan apartment on the market last week—and it's already been scooped up! The Million Dollar Listing New York agent opened up about what went down in the intense bidding war.
"Our loft sold in a bidding war over ask!" he wrote on Instagram on Saturday. Fredrik and his husband got the good news while on vacation: "We arrived to the island last night late, and on our bed was the signed contract faxed—what an amazing anniversary gift! And I'm so happy for the buyer—so many incredible memories in that apartment."
The agent listed his home for $2.9 million, according to the real estate website Curbed. It was the second time the broker tried to sell the 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath space: it was first listed in May 2013 for $3.25 million.
There was more good news for Fredrik this weekend, too: he and Derek were celebrating their two-year relationship milestone—and also toasting Fredrik's brother, who tied the knot, as well.
"I think it's quite possible that we had the best night of our lives last night," Fredrik wrote in another Instagram photo on Sunday.
