Our Fashion Queens are absolutely gagging over New York Fashion Week. With legendary anniversaries and notable debuts, the Queens have quite a decision on their perfectly manicured hands. Who will claim the Gag Award for one of biggest events in fashion?
While the Knowles we're most often hearing about is Queen B-eyoncé, her sister Solange (above) has been making a quite name for herself in the fashion world for some time. The fashionista really took things up a notch as she went bold for NYFW with vibrant colors and clashing combinations that stood out in a sea of fabulous high fashion.
But can this up and comer compete with a teary-eyed Donna Karan (below) marking 30 years in fashion?
In an industry that changes faster than the weather in New York City, such an incredible tenure deserves the highest accolades. Will the Gag Award be amongst this iconic designer's laurels?
Finally, we have designers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne of Public School (below) who showed a collection for the first time at NYFW. Their edgy street-wear for men has made fashion waves in the past, but it was adding their innovative take on women's wear that made this duo the talk of the town. This killer men and women's collection left everyone with the question: where do we enroll?
