MJ Walks Out on GG

Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi announced that she would be ending her marriage of a little more than a month in a statement to E! News via her rep on Thursday. And members of the Shahs of Sunset squad are just as surprised about the split as fans are.

Mike Shouhed, who we saw deal with his own break-up from wife Jessica Parido last season, expressed empathy for GG and her ex Shalom in an interview with E! News. "I feel for both of them," he said. "My enormous regards go out to both. I hope they find peace."

Mike added that he loves both GG and Shalom. "They seemed so happy together," he said. "This is a shock to me."

Mercedes "MJ" Javid, who's engaged to beau Tommy Feight, said she was concerned about how fast things were moving for GG and Shalom. "It's been a new relationship with a lot of ups and downs," MJ shared with E! News. "You're going to see me question his sincerity. And I think GG just really wanted to be with someone. It definitely happened way too fast."

But MJ just wants her friend to be happy. "That said I wish them the best," she said. "Hopefully, everything will work out the way it's supposed to."

GG's rep, Steve Honig, explained the reason for the split in a statement to E! News on Thursday. "During the past few weeks, certain facts have come to GG's attention that have made her realize her marriage can no longer continue, and, in fact, should never have happened," he said. "She is hoping to end the relationship as amicably and respectfully as possible."

Prior to GG announcing the break-up, E! News reported that Shervin Roohparvar didn't even know that GG and Shalom were planning on getting married before they tied the knot on January 25, 2017 at Albertson Wedding Chapel in Los Angeles. "I'm very happy for her. He's an awesome guy. I was one of the first to meet him out of the group," Shervin revealed to E! News last week. "We got along right away. We hang out all the time. I love her. She's like my sister."
