Has Jen Riservato Spoken to Bryan Kattenburg Since Below Deck Med?

"I felt filled to the brim with dislike for Bryan," Jen said of working with the first mate on #BelowDeckMed.

It's a Bryan Kattenburg Intervention

It was no secret that Jen Riservato wasn't a fan of Bryan Kattenburg this season of Below Deck Mediterranean. However, the deckhand really let her boss have it in the season finale when she revealed how much of a displeasure it was working with him.

Jen revealed to The Daily Dish via email why she chose to finally express her true feelings to Bryan as they said goodbye to the Ionian Princess and the charter season. "At the point of the last charter/day, I felt filled to the brim with dislike for Bryan so I naturally expressed my feelings," she said. "I've seen the real Bryan... and it's bad. No exaggeration."

The deckhand went on to say that the last straw came when Bryan backed deckhand Bobby Giancola as he tried to bring a girl back to the boat, despite protests from the rest of the crew. "The absolute realization... the no turning back point came during our night-out fight when Bryan actually physically defended Bobby when he called us terribly profane names," she explained. "He held us back and held his arms out to protect precious 6-foot-tall Bobby from the women. Pathetic."

Though getting a plane ticket home was the last thing Jen wanted, she said she still tried to be difficult with Bryan. "His alliance with Bobby also left me singled out, and had I had more of a group of allies ready to overthrow Bryan with me, I would have done more," she said. "Respect is earned, and there was never even one day where Bryan earned an ounce of my respect. Bryan was threatened by me and tried to hold the ONLY things he could possibly find against me (knots)."

She also blames Bryan for Danny Zureikat kissing charter guest Morgan, which she said she never told any of the crewmembers about. "I didn't tell anyone about Danny's kiss because I don't think it was Danny's fault. It is a reflection of Bryan, then it trickles down to the captain," Jen explained, adding that if Danny had been fired as a result of that incident, Bryan should have been let go as well. "If I were first mate, Danny wouldn't have been roaming freely during a charter to get close enough to a guest EVER. Bryan bred the beast. And, my guilty pleasure was watching Danny irritate and make Bryan look incompetent as long as it could last."

So have Jen and Bryan exchanged any more words since the season ended? "I have not spoken a single word to Bryan since wrapping," Jen said. "Funny story: On our crew flight back to the States, I ran into him in the airport and overheard him saying to Bobby, 'If Jen were a guy, I'd kick her ass.' If I were a guy, I'd without a doubt kick Bryan's ass! C'mon!"

Bryan isn't the only one Jen got into conflict with on Below Deck Med this season. Relive her explosive argument with Bobby, below.
