Have NeNe's 'RHOA' Co-Stars Seen Her on Broadway?

The star of 'Cinderella' reveals "the hate is really real."

NeNe Leakes made her Broadway debut as Cinderella's Wicked Stepmother in late November and this week she was on HuffPost Live to talk about her transformation into Madame—which involved five weeks of extensive rehearsals. But the hard work seems to have really paid off.

"I love it. I really really love it," she said of being on Broadway. "I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I love it and I don't say that about a lot of stuff."

"The first week was a little hard for me...because I had to get used to the schedule," she says of the grueling Broadway schedule of 8 shows a week. "But I must say it has been the most fulfilling thing for me. The instant gratification, the audience clapping and cheering, I really like it."

So which Housewives have come to see NeNe's turn on the Great White Way? NeNe revealed that although cast members from New Jersey (including Melissa Gorga and Kathy Wakile), Orange County (Vicki Gunvalson) and New York City (Jill Zarin and Kristen Taekman) have come to her shows, she has yet to see any of the Atlanta ladies in the audience, although Porsha Williams and Phaedra Parks are supposed to catch the show this week.

If they don't want to come, it's fine—because I'm killing the character.”

Asked how that makes her feel, NeNe responded with "I don't know any other way to say it, except the hate is real. The hate is really real. We have our differences, but in some big instances I'd be there to support." NeNe then goes on to list how she's attended launch parties for both Kandi Burruss and Cynthia Bailey in the past and has been a constant source of support for Porsha while she was going through her divorce.

Still, she insists she has no hurt feelings. "If they don't want to come, it's fine. Because I'm killing the character," she says.

NeNe will be appearing on Broadway through January.
