Heather Dubrow Is Only Allowed in the Kitchen "One Day a Year"

The Real Housewives of Orange County alum is getting into the spirit of the season.

When it comes to frying up certain items in the kitchen, Heather Dubrow knows that there's only one time of year where you'll find her over a frying pan making latkes. And now that Hanukkah is officially underway, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum revealed that cooking up some tasty potato pancakes is definitely something she reserves for this time of the year.

"The one day of the year [friend Jackie] lets me in the kitchen!!! #latkes #hanukkah #holidays #chanukah #cooking #family," she shared.

Heather and her family's love for all things festive is no secret. And she's previously explained to The Daily Dish why they embrace holidays of all faiths and have even had Christmas trees up in their home in the past.

"What I think is funny is that everyone says, 'You're Jewish. Why do you have that?' I celebrate everything. Life is about celebrating with your family," she shared in 2015. "Our rabbi said being a good Jew is having traditions — holidays, time together. Also, being a good Jew is being a good member of your family with tradition — whether it’s Hanukkah, Christmas, Easter, Passover, Kwanzaa — we do them all. Anything that gives us family time; we want to expose that to our children."

And the Dubrows are definitely feeling the holiday spirit once again.

Their decorations are up all around the Dubrow Chateau.
