Why Does Kelly Dodd Push Heather Dubrow's Buttons?

"When someone's in your face, when someone's in your world, it just affects you," the #RHOC mom said on #WWHL.

After Show: Why Kelly Pushes Heather’s Buttons

Whether it was during the ladies' trip to Ireland or the sushi dinner party back home in California, Heather Dubrow and Kelly Dodd just can't seem to get along this season of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Though Kelly has had drama with many of the RHOC ladies, it seems like Heather has been particularly bothered by her behavior this season.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on  Peacock and the Bravo App.

Heather explained why it seems like she's letting Kelly get to her during the Watch What Happens Live After Show Monday night (clip above). "I think we all have our breaking points at certain moments. The sushi dinner is a particularly interesting thing. I definitely got some comments like, 'Why are you crying so much in the car? It wasn't even about you,'" she told one caller. "But there was other things going on — which will come out at the reunion and I'll talk about that maybe you'll understand more — but at some point, when someone's in your face, when someone's in your world, it just affects you, and how can you not go there?"

Heather is, of course, referring to the disastrous dinner party in which things got heated and Kelly used the C-word to describe Shannon Beador. Heather got so upset that she asked Kelly to leave the restaurant but then decided to exit herself and ended up sobbing in her car on the way home.

Why Heather Looks Uninterested

That was one instance where fans thought it seemed like Heather was distancing herself from the drama, and she told a caller earlier during Monday night's WWHL that "there's been a lot" of mortifying moments for her this season, the most mortifying of which she said she's saving to reveal during the reunion (clip above). "As far as what's happened this season and why I have those looks on my face is because at some point, I have four children, three are girls, and I'm teaching them that you're known by the company you keep, and you want to surround yourself with people who are blue skies, who love each other, who want to lift each other up," Heather explained. "And it's really hard to be in a group where people are screaming 'see you next Tuesday' at each other."

However, it looks like Heather will find herself back in the middle of some major drama when we see the conclusion of that explosive bus ride in next Monday night's episode at 9/8c. Catch a sneak peek of what's to come, below.
