Imposters Is Returning For Season 2!

Get ready for more cons! Imposters will return for Season 2.

Just as this season of Imposters has been chock-full of shocking twists and turns, co-creator Paul Adelstein surprised the cast with the good news during the For Your Consideration Emmy event in Los Angeles Monday night. "We were really willing to do a second season. We can go ahead and do our second season," Paul told the cast, who was immediately thrilled about the news.

“‘Imposters' has truly resonated with our audience and critics alike with its unique brand of suspense and humor,” Frances Berwick, President, Lifestyle Networks, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment, said in a statement. “We’re excited to see what the future holds for this unlikely band of flawed, but lovable characters that our talented creators and actors have fully brought to life.”

And if for some reason you haven't started watching Imposters just yet, now's the perfect time to do so. "[Co-creators] Adam [Brooks], Paul and our wonderful cast and crew are delivering a mad and merry show that makes us all proud," Jeff Wachtel, President, Chief Content Officer, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment, said in a statement. "We're excited that even more people will be able to join the party next season."

After last week's shocking Season 1 finale, we can't wait to see what Imposters has in store for persona-shifting con artist Maddie (Inbar Lavi) and her three most recent victims who teamed up to track her down and even got into the con game themselves: Ezra (Rob Heaps), Richard (Parker Young), and Jules (Marianne Rendón). Along the way, this wild ride was filled with a sexy love interest in Patrick (Stephen Bishop), seasoned con artists Max (Brian Benben) and Sally (Katherine LaNasa), fierce fixer Lenny Cohen (Uma Thurman), the FBI, and the mysterious Doctor who's running this whole con operation, all of whom came to a head in the Season 1 finale. So yeah, saying that we've been dying to see what happens next on Imposters is a bit of an understatement.

Production on Season 2 of Imposters is set to begin this fall. While we anxiously await the arrival of more Imposters, watch the cast dish on the Season 1 finale, below.
