Things are looking much brighter for the Countess. Last night, the Real Housewives of New York City's LuAnn de Lesseps celebrated the release of her latest single "Chic C'est La Vie" at New York's Bar Basque, while surprising partygoers with her noticeably longer and lighter 'do. Is she switching to Team Blonde?
"Getting glam for tonight takes a lot of work.....and a lot of foil ;) stay tuned," the mom of two teens teased earlier in the day on Twitter, before revealing her decision to ditch her signature bob and darker tresses. "I love my new blonde hair! Thank you @tedgibsonbeauty," she tweeted about her makeover.
Fellow RHONYers Cindy Barshop, Jill Zarin and Kelly Bensimon supported LuAnn at the bash, and the latter two even made appearances in the song's music video. Why didn't the original blonde squad make cameos, too? "The other girls didn't come, they didn't think it was appropriate. I didn't want anyone to feel like they were being excluded so I invited everyone," the Countess explains to PopEater.com. "And let's face it, I sing about them in the song." Well, Kelly's clearly pleased with her decision. The former model tweeted, "Congrats @countessluann. Your video is AMAZE #chiccestlavie."
LuAnn confesses that she's unsure how long she'll stay a blonde, but there's already another Bravolebrity pondering the dye job plunge. "To go caramel beachy blonde-ish or stay brunette? Any thoughts on this very important matter?" the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Kyle Richards' daughter Farrah tweeted. So, should she lighten up, too?
