Is Vicki Gunvalson's Friendship with Shannon Beador *Really* Over?

Heather Dubrow Is Looking for Accountability From Vicki Gunvalson

Vicki Gunvalson kicked off this season of The Real Housewives of Orange County looking for forgiveness from her castmates after everything that happened with her ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers and the controversy surrounding his cancer diagnosis last season, as she did with Heather Dubrow in the clip, above. But one person she might have a tough time getting it from is Shannon Beador, who expressed that she was not interested in having anything to do with Vicki during the Season 11 premiere.

But Vicki isn't going to beg for Shannon's forgiveness either. "Shannon is stuck in the past, and I've asked her, let's move on. You don't even have to believe what I'm saying. I don't care anymore. It's in my past," the OG of the RHOC told The Daily Dish. "I know the truth, and if she wants to stay stuck in the past, she can do that; I'm not going to. So Shannon has to make that decision."

However, Vicki said there's a lot that has to happen on both of their parts before they can be friends again. "There's a lot I'd have to forgive Shannon for as well. It's not just one-sided. I've asked [for] forgiveness from her, but I haven't gotten an apology from her, and I don't think I ever will," she said. "I don't know what happened last year. All I know is I know what I experienced. And nobody can take that away from me. They don't know everything. So they have it in their mind and believe one thing, but it's not truth."

All in all, Vicki said she just wants Shannon to be as supportive of her as Vicki was when she first arrived on RHOC. "I was a good friend to Shannon. I was," Vicki said. "When nobody liked her, I was there for her, and I expect that same back."

Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like Shannon will reciprocate anytime soon. "After the reunion last year, I made the decision to end any friendship I had with Vicki. I was used and I was lied to," Shannon wrote in her latest blog on Bravotv.com. "I don't want to rehash or dwell on the things that happened last year. I have made up my mind and I am not going to change it."

We'll have to wait and see how this relationship develops this season of RHOC. But Vicki may have found a new friend in new Housewife Kelly Dodd, anyway. See them hit it off in the next episode of RHOC airing Monday, June 27 at 9/8c.
