The tree's up, the holiday parties are underway, and that can only mean one thing: It's time for Jax Taylor to break out his beloved chunky sweater collection. And, you can bet the Vanderpump Rules SURver is ready for it — especially considering he's spending some time in chilly NYC.

"Off to explore nyc!! #chunkysweater season!" he tweeted, along with a selfie of him wearing, you guessed it, a chunky sweater.

The chunky sweater is an important part of the Jax mythology. It all dates back to Season 1 of Vanderpump Rules when Jax crashed Stassi Schroeder's birthday party in Las Vegas. They were not dating at the moment — and she was seeing a man named Frank. They duked it out and, well, the sweater was a casualty of that argument. Yet, it still exists somewhere.
