Jax Taylor and James Kennedy once had the kind of feud that can only fester behind SUR in its infamous alley. But these days, the bartender and the DJ have put that animosity behind them. In fact, they first showed hints that things were definitely better between them during the Vanderpump Rules Season 5 reunion — and we can confirm that now that beef is officially dead.
Jax shared why he wanted to end all the drama during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Monday. And you can hear him explain why things changed between them in the video above.
In fact, when The Daily Dish spoke to Jax earlier this year, he shared a bit more about what it was like to bury that longstanding beef.
"We don't go out for coffee by any means, but I can tolerate him," he said at the time. "Well I'm 38 years old; picking fights with people is not really in my interests anymore. He is who he is. I was that kid when I was that age. I have to remember that, so, you know, I can sit here and yell at him and all that. But when I was 23 or 24 or however the hell old he is, but I was just the same kid. So I can understand how he acts. So it's one of things where I was like, it's just one of those things where its water under the bridge. Just let it go."
In fact, Jax even had some nice things to say about the DJ during that The Daily Dish interview. "He's humorous. He's funny. He is a funny guy; he really is," he said. "I feel like he's trying to find his niche. He's trying to figure out how to fit in."
You can find out what's next for the guys and the rest of the Vanderpump Rules crew every Monday at 9/8c. Preview, below.
