Jax Taylor Just Spilled All of His Secrets to... Himself?!
The #PumpRules SURver dished on his time in the Navy, when he lost his virginity, and so much more.
Jax Taylor is many things: SURver/bartender, reformed West Hollywood Casanova, and model, to name a few. But now we're pulling back even more layers on the onion that is this Vanderpump Rules star. When he recently stopped by The Daily Dish HQ, Jax sat down to ask himself all the burning questions about, well, himself. And what we learned about him is all kinds of fascinating.
For instance, he shared why he decided to change his name to the moniker we know him as. "I picked Jax Taylor because, well, it's a cool f***ing name."
Back in his days as Jason, Jax served time in the Navy, which he previously teased in an interview with Complex earlier this year. Now, he's elaborating a bit more about that time in his life. "I was in the Navy for four years and I was stationed in Norfolk, VA, on an aircraft carrier called the Roosevelt. I was a specialist," he said. "I drove special forces around, Navy SEALs and stuff like that."
Somewhere along the way, a special woman came into Jax's life and changed everything for him. "I lost my virginity at the age of 19. I want to say her name was Kirsten. Kristen or Kirsten," he said. "It's one of those two."
With his Navy days and a girl named Kirsten or Kristen behind him, he's currently one of the pretty folks who work for Lisa Vanderpump on Vanderpump Rules, now working alongside his girlfriend, Brittany Cartwright. So, does he have a cute pet name for her? "I do have a nickname for Brittany. I don't like to talk about this too much, but her name is Bitty Bear," he shared, noting it's not Kentucky Muffin.
