Jennifer Lopez's Most Iconic Dance Moments Will Remind You Why She's a Superstar Like No Other

Whenever J.Lo moves, our jaws drop.

J. Lo on the Era of the Booty

Jennifer Lopez has conquered the worlds of acting, singing, and fashion, among many others. But now she's returning to her roots like never before.

The superstar will serve as a judge and executive producer of the new competition series World of Dance, which premieres Tuesday, May 30 at 10/9c. In World of Dance, J.Lo, along with fellow judges Derek Hough and NE-YO, as well as host and mentor Jenna Dewan Tatum, will watch as the most elite dancers on the planet come together to compete for a $1 million grand prize.

Of course, Jennifer is more than qualified to crown the world's best dancers. Before she slayed every facet of entertainment, J.Lo got her start in show biz as a dancer, and she hasn't stopped wowing us with her moves ever since. Here are the dance moments that most defined her career — and the ones that we'll never get tired of watching.

1. She Was the Flyest Fly Girl

Jennifer famously got her start in show biz as one of the Fly Girls on In Living Color. Even back then, we could tell she was going to be a star.

2. Her Irresistible Let's Get Loud Music Video

Who doesn't instantly jump out of their seat whenever J.Lo's classic "Let's Get Loud" comes on? Unfortunately, our moves will never beat Jennifer's salsa-inspired steps in the official music video for the single, which features her performance at the 1999 Women's World Cup. But we can dare to dream.

3. Her Priceless Love Don't Cost a Thing Dance Break

Most of Jennifer's music video for "Love Don't Cost a Thing" is focused solely on the singer, all the while looking fierce, natch. But her big dance break in the middle of the video was next-level amazing. That beach background! That J.Lo T-shirt! That hair! It is all so wonderful, and we wish it lasted longer. Well, we guess that's what rewind is for.

4. Her Smooth and Sensual Moves in the Ain't It Funny Music Video

Don't ask us to choose which version of Jennifer's "Ain't It Funny" hits we prefer because they're both classics. But we have to say that we can't get enough of Jennifer's solo dance in the music video for "Ain't It Funny (Alt Version)" because it's skillful, sexy, and show-stopping.

5. She Proved She Should Never Stop Dancing in Dance Again

Jennifer put on her boogie shoes again for the sultry music video for her song "Dance Again" featuring Pitbull. In the video, Jennifer performs one of the hottest duets we've ever see with then-boyfriend Casper Smart. You'll definitely need to cool off after watching this video.

6. She Brought the House Down at the Billboard Music Awards

J.Lo teamed up with Pitbull again at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards where the two performed "Live It Up." Not only did Jennifer burn the floor with her dance moves, but she also wore a fantastic-looking red-hot patent leather unitard with gigantic fur sleeves. Every aspect of this performance was muy caliente.

7. Her Tight Pants Dance Moves Were Tight

Even when J.Lo is being funny, her dance moves are flawless. Jennifer joined Jimmy Fallon in performing "Tight Pants" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and she looked super cool in her short 'do and tight, white pants as she did some groovy moves. Sorry, Jimmy, but if there's only room in this town for one tight pants wearer, Jennifer has our vote.

8. When Bob Fosse Met Booty

Jennifer paid homage to Bob Fosse's legendary "Rich Man's Frug" choreography from Sweet Charity with a theatrical performance of "Booty" during Fashion Rocks in 2014. The dance was just as suave and sophisticated as the original but with some of the singer's signature sexiness thrown in. This performance has since become iconic in its own right.
