Kandi Burruss Pays Tribute to Her Aunt Shortly After Her Passing
The Real Housewives of Atlanta entrepreneur asked that fans "keep my family in your prayers."
In the midst of celebrating the holidays with her family, Kandi Burruss revealed she lost a family member. The Real Housewives of Atlanta entrepreneur confirmed the passing of her Aunt Hazel on Thursday (December 27). She shared the news on Instagram: "I lost my Aunt Hazel this morning. Why does it always seem like we lose loved ones around the holidays? Please keep my family in your prayers."
She did not provide any other information about her aunt's passing, but did share a throwback snapshot of her beloved family member.
Family is definitely an important aspect of Kandi's life, both personally and professionally.
She works closely with her mom, Joyce Jones, as well as two of her aunts, Bertha Jones and Nora Wilcox, on their Old Lady Gang restaurants in the Atlanta area.
