Kandi Burruss' Daughter Riley Burruss Is Being Honored at an Event and We're Feeling Vicarious Pride
The fit teenager is a guest of honor at an event that's all about sweating and sisterhood.
Riley Burruss is having a super sweet 16th year. Not only did The Real Housewives of Atlanta daughter just get her very own Porsche — not a bad first car! — she's also being honored at an upcoming event.
Proud mama Kandi Burruss shared the news in a September 14 Instagram post. Showing a photo of her beautiful mini-me looking radiant in a hot pink look, Kandi wrote: "I am too excited for PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT fest ATLANTA tomorrow September 15th!"
She went on to explain that her daughter is one of the honorees for the event, which she described as a shindig "filled with music, self-care, sisterhood, style, fitness, food, and fun benefiting select non-profit organizations."
The event is officially billed as "the ultimate sweat sisterhood festival," and it sounds like a blast. In addition to workout sessions led by top trainers from around Atlanta, it also features live sets from female DJs, a "savor garden" filled with healthy food trucks, and a beauty bar.
It makes sense that Kandi's daughter would be honored at an event that's all about fitness and health, too. The teenager recently shed an astounding 52 pounds "the right way" by working out with a trainer five days a week, and watched her calorie intake.
