Kandi Burruss Shows Off Her Natural Hair

#RHOA's expectant mother went back to her roots on Instagram.

As Kandi Burruss gets ready to welcome her new bundle of joy next month, The Real Housewives of Atlanta hitmaker is taking it easy. That includes toning down her beauty regimen. Kandi showed off her natural hair in an Instagram pic posted Monday after her hairstylist Jodie Rowlands did a simple wash and press. "Why do I feel naked without the wig & extra hair???" Kandi wrote on Instagram. "Once you wear a weave it's hard to go back to your regular hair.... #LetsSeeHowLongThisLast"

This isn't the first time Kandi wasn't afraid to show the world her true self sans having her hair and makeup done. Last year, she posted a makeup-free selfie on Instagram with the caption, "Good morning! This is about to be a LONG day.... Time for hair & makeup & then lights, camera, action!"

Kandi's RHOA castmate Cynthia Bailey shared on Instagram that she was going on a "much needed weave break" in October. "I try to do this every 3 months but I am usually too busy working & traveling to commit," Cynthia wrote. "I love changing my hair up & weaves and wigs are the quickest ways to get different looks. However, I always want to make sure my natural hair is strong & healthy. I highly suggest taking a weave break ladies! Even if it's only for a couple of weeks."

Taking a much needed weave break! I try to do this every 3 months but I am usually too busy working & traveling to commit. This is what my hair looks like right now. As you can see it is growing but my leave out (WHICH IS DYED BLOND TO BLEND IN WITH MY BLOND EXTENSIONS) & edges are a little stressed damaged. I just washed, conditioned & put it in 2 ponytails. AirDry not blow dry! I love changing my hair up & weaves and wigs are the quickest ways to get different looks. However, I always want to make sure my natural hair is strong & healthy. I highly suggest taking a weave break ladies! Even if it's only for a couple of weeks. I'm going to try to do 2 months.
