Kate Chastain Just Revealed Some Controversial Real Housewives Opinions
The Below Deck chief stewardess isn't afraid to pick a side.

It's a busy time for Kate Chastain: not only is the new season of Below Deck underway, but she also took over hosting duties for this week's episode of The Daily Dish podcast! While we've frequently heard Kate's opinions about her fellow crew members, we haven't always heard her thoughts about other Bravolebrities — until now. While playing a lightning round of Sophie Stanbury's Choice, she revealed that she isn't afraid to take a side on even the most sensitive of Bravo topics.
As a longtime The Real Housewives of New York City fan, Kate had to make some pretty tough decisions during the game. For instance, would she rather see Luann de Lesseps' cabaret — or Sonja Morgan's caburlesque? "I am Team Sonja always and forever," Kate admitted. "But I do want to see Luann's cabaret."
Speaking of the RHONY ladies, would Kate rather have been along for the Season 3 trip to Scary Island or the Season 10 trip to Cartagena, Colombia? The seasoned chief stewardess has a vested interest in this topic: "Colombia, so I can teach that boat crew how not to almost kill your guests," she replied.
Of course, RHONY isn't the only Real Housewives franchise to count Kate as a fan. She chose The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Lisa Rinna's clothing collection, Lisa Rinna for QVC, over The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Shereé Whifield's clothing line, She by Shereé, because "I love [Lisa's] energy and I want a duster." She also said between The Real Housewives of New Jersey boutique Envy by Melissa Gorga and RHOBH boutique Kyle by Alene Too, she would choose the latter because "I love [Kyle Richards'] style" — even though she feels the name of the shop is a little long.
Kate didn't even hesitate at some of the most difficult questions. Between RHOBH's Lisa Vanderpump's abode, Villa Rosa, and The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Heather Dubrow's much-discussed manse, Chateau Dubrow, she has a clear preference. It's LVP for the win: "She has swans, ya'll ... and a moat."
The Below Deck chief stew also revealed which two Bravo shows are her favorite, which Southern Charm couple she's shipping, and answered a few more tough Sophie Stanbury's Choice questions.
