Kathy Griffin gets nominated for a Grammy!
After a long, hard stretch of shameless campaigning, D-list diva Kathy Griffin finally secured a Grammy nod! If she wins, she'll have a GLADD award, TWO Emmy Awards, a Celebrity Mole win, AND a memorable guest appearance on CNBC's The Suze Orman Show (in other words, she'll have it ALL.)
Her comedy album, For Your Consideration, will be up against the following nominees:
Anticipation, Lewis Black
Flight Of The Conchords, Flight Of The Conchords
It's Bad For Ya, George Carlin
Songs Of The Bushmen, Harry Shearer
So Kathy fans, try to be as impartial as possible and offer your Grammy predictions below. You might be pulling for Kathy, but does she possess the lyrical prowess to best the Flight of the Conchords? It's hard to believe that anyone could top the Conchords jam, "Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros." A sampling: "Where did you get the preposterous hypothesis that I was a hippopotamus?"
