Kathy Wakile to Penny Drossos: Grow Up!

The RHONJ star questions her morals for getting involved in Gorga cheating rumors.

By Chelsea Brady

There's so much chatter about the Gorgas fighting the Giudices on the Real Housewives of New Jersey, sometimes the show's most stealthy loudmouth can stay under the radar. We're referring, of course, to Rich Wakile, the NJ husband who always has a witty retort (or a biting criticism) on the tip of his tongue. And on last night's Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen asked Kathy Wakile about her spouse's habit of getting a little nasty on Twitter. Her response? Rich has a right to defend his brood.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 premiere May 5th at 8/9c on Bravo and stream next day on Peacock.

"If you're going to put out an insult to one of his family members, mainly me or my children, you're going to expect something back," she says. "If you want to play that game, then he's the first one to play it with you."

"Yeah, but he may be tweeting back to some guy living in a mud hut in Mississippi," the night's other guest, Andrew Dice Clay, suggests.

Kathy was amused by the Diceman's comment, but insists her husband knows what he's doing: "He loves it, come on, bring it on!"

Kathy Wakile's Twitter Defense

Later during the After Show, Kathy also opened up about Penny's role among the 'Wives. (On Sunday's episode, Melissa Gorga and Joe Giudice confronted her about who was behind the rumors that Melissa cheated on Joe.)

"I just think she needs to keep her opinions to herself," she says. 'If she says that someone is putting her up to it...she needs to have some morals. Grow up!"
