Tom Schwartz Had No Idea That Katie Maloney-Schwartz's Wedding Dress Cost $15k
The #PumpRules newlywed had a major case of sticker shock.
Whoever said ignorance is bliss must have been in the throes of wedding planning. That was certainly the case for Vanderpump Rules' Tom Schwartz, who revealed to The Daily Dish podcast that he wasn't always up to speed on how much everything cost.
During the interview, Katie Maloney-Schwartz confirmed her Zuhair Murad-designed gown cost $15k. When asked if he was aware of the hefty price tag at the time the dress was purchased, Tom solemnly replied, "I was not aware of the price."
Katie stands by her expensive taste saying, "I mean, hello, it was Zuhair Murad, and it was perfect. I couldn’t even dream of a better dress."
While Schwartz admits he's not entirely over the sticker shock when it comes to the price of the overall wedding ("It still stings a little."), he agrees with Katie that it was worth it.
"You can’t put a price on that day, but still, maybe the budget got a little bloated there."
As for plans on what to do with the dress, Tom had a suggestion.
"Once every two months I put on my tux, you put on your dress, we’ll order Chinese food, we’ll get some mid-range Champagne..."
