Why Does Tom Schwartz Celebrate Katie Maloney Every Year on November 9? (UPDATED)
The date holds special meaning for the SURver.
UPDATE (Feb. 6, 2018, 11:13 A.M.): Katie reflected on the accident on a Season 6 episode of Vanderpump Rules, opening up in detail about the life-changing incident. She was later praised by her fellow pals, as well as Lisa Vanderpump for her candor. The SUR boss wrote, "I remember so well... Hearing of your accident and how you were so concerned for your job.Loved you then and now."

November 9 will forever hold special significance for Vanderpump Rules SURver Katie Maloney. As it turns out, on that date six years ago, she was badly injured after falling 25 feet through a sky light. The fall resulted in a broken jaw, broken collar bone and a small brain injury. As she marks the six-year anniversary of that accident, her fiance, Tom Schwartz, has taken to Twitter and Instagram to celebrate his lady love.
His heartfelt message caught Katie's attention, who Tweeted back to him that she, too, is "So thankful I met you and I love you more everyday!"
In the days before her accident's anniversary, Katie had a little fun at the rumor mill's expense. She shot down any gossip that she's pregnant by taking a, well, shot with Pandora Vanderpump.
