Kelly Bensimon and Daughters Go Cocoa for Animal Shelter Fundraiser

The trio raised $143 in the chilly weather to benefit NYC homeless pets.

Last week, The Real Housewives of New York City's Kelly Bensimon bounced from flaunting a white bikini on a Miami beach to selling hot cocoa with daughters Sea and Teddy on a Manhattan street in frigid temperatures.

"Almost set for the hot coco stand to support Animal Haven. Come see us,bring old towels, paper towels, and sheets. see you on Lafayette," the super-toned do-gooder tweeted. All in all, the Bensimon girls raised $143 on Dec. 4 for Animal Haven, a nonprofit organization located in Manhattan that finds homes for abandoned cats and dogs.

"My kids raised $143 dollars with their HOT COCOA and brownie stand for Animal Haven tonight. I am so proud of their idea and follow through," the proud mom gushed. "Charity has layers. my girls support what they love, & help who/what means something to them.make a mark in ur life. work hard. give harder." Kudos, ladies!

Kelly's generosity for the weekend didn't stop there. She later retweeted, "Donations r needed 4 operation santa klaus, po bx 225 Perry, ny 14530, goal 153 childrn & families, ths holiday." On Dec. 5, the Housewife likewise promoted a tweet from @FoodBank4NYC saying, "Hunger is a reality for more than a million New Yorkers. Give $10. Text FBNYC to 50555 today."

Couldn't make Kelly, Sea, and Teddy's hot cocoa fundraiser? There are still plenty of ways to support Animal Haven.
