Kelly Ripa and Kandi Burruss Could Be Roommates in New York City
The two talents hit it off on the set of Live With Kelly and Ryan.
Kandi Burruss appeared on Live With Kelly and Ryan on Wednesday, December 20, and it's safe to say that Kelly Ripa took a shine to The Real Housewives of Atlanta singer. When Kandi chatted with Ripa about finding a New York City crash pad while she performs as Mama Morton in Chicago on Broadway, Ripa was quick to offer a solution.
Kandi shared the story in an Instagram post that showed her smiling with the morning talk show host and their mutual pal, Andy Cohen, who was a guest host on the day's episode.
"Kelly said I can stay at her house if I can't find an apartment in time for my Chicago run ... I may have to take you up on that!" the Xscape singer wrote. Seriously, if these two end up rooming together, can we join them for dinner one night?
Apart from dishing on her apartment search, Kandi talked about her past as a songwriter for the likes of Whitney Houston, Destiny's Child, and Donna Summer. Andy asked Kandi to spill the tea: does she has a favorite collaborator?
Kandi admitted that working with Houston will always hold a special place in her heart, especially since the icon is no longer with us. She also revealed what it was like to work with the superstar: "She was so funny and cool; I was like, 'Wow.''' Talk about #careergoals!
