We Finally Know Why Kenya Moore Said She Got Mistaken for Beyoncé All the Time

The Real Housewives of Atlanta entrepreneur really does have a lot in common with Queen Bey.

By Laura Rosenfeld

Remember back in Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta when Kenya Moore shared, "Every day somebody thinks I'm Beyoncé"? Well, now we finally know why that is.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Peacock and the Bravo App.

Kenya shared a throwback video of her first rehearsal for the music video for her beloved single "Gone with the Wind Fabulous" on Instagram Thursday. The vintage video shows Kenya practicing Beyoncé's iconic dance moves in her music video for "Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)." The RHOA entrepreneur paid homage to Queen Bey's visual in her own video, donning the same look, doing the same dance moves, and having it all appear in black-and-white. You can relive the fierceness of Kenya's "Gone with the Wind Fabulous" music video, which also includes a reenactment of the original RHOA moment that gave us the eponymous catchphrase and also features RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars' Shangela, above.

Even though the RHOA ladies originally hated on Kenya for drawing comparisons between her and Beyoncé, they actually have more in common than they may realize. Kenya previously recreated the "Drunk In Love" music video after her wedding, Beyoncé has stolen Kenya's catchphrases, and the two share the same taste in fashion.

Who run the world? "Gone with the Wind Fabulous" girls like Beyoncé and Kenya, that's who!
