If you were surprised to hear the news of Kenya Moore's secret wedding to Marc Daly in June, you weren't the only one. Kenya's The Real Housewives of Atlanta pal Kandi Burruss found out the news just like everybody else: "Online!" she recently told E! News.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Peacock and the Bravo App.

But given the fact that Kandi had no idea that Kenya was planning on walking down the aisle anytime soon, she immediately went to the source to fact check this story. "And I had to call her like, 'Yo! You're married?' Because I was thinking maybe it was fake," Kandi told E! News. "And then she's like, 'Yeah, I'm really married.'"

Though Kandi said that she hasn't met Marc yet, from what she's heard from Kenya, she knows that her friend has found someone special. "I have not met him personally but she has talked to me about him since last year, towards the end of the year," Kandi shared. "So I knew she had met someone that she had really liked."

Kenya and Marc tied the knot surrounded by loved ones in an intimate beach ceremony in St. Lucia on June 10. The couple began dating in December, and they were originally introduced by mutual friend and Bravoleb Chef Roblé Ali, who sent his congrats to the couple on Instagram last month. "I'm so happy for y'all! When I introduced you two I KNEW y'all would hit it off but this is just WOW!" he gushed in the post. "You got a GREAT man Kenya!!! That's my man right there. I'm tryna be like him when I grow up! Congrats y'all!!!"

Kenya's RHOA pal Cynthia Bailey also sent the couple her best wishes on Instagram in June. "Congratulations, Kenya! You are a beautiful and stunning bride sis," she wrote. "I am so happy for the both of you. God bless."
