Heather Dubrow Learned a Valuable Lesson From Kim Kardashian's Robbery
The #RHOC mom is being careful about how much of her new home ends up on screen.
Kim Kardashian and her famous family members aren't the only ones who have received a wake-up call from the reality star's robbery at gunpoint in Paris earlier this month. Others who live their fabulous lives in the public eye have also learned from her harrowing experience.
Kim's fellow reality star, The Real Housewives of Orange County's Heather Dubrow, is one such celebrity. “I’ve always been really careful when I travel. Especially when we travel abroad with the show, but it’s scary,” she told Page Six on Monday. “You have to be aware of your surroundings and when you’re in the public eye, you have to be careful about what you’re posting.”
Heather also said that some of her fellow Housewives might want to keep a lower profile while in public in the wake of the incident. “It’s not just the Kardashians, there’s plenty of housewives too that I see walking around airports with entourages,” Heather said. “I try to go the opposite way. I try to go under the radar, I don’t really want to be noticed when I walk through.”
Although Heather has delighted fans with updates on the new Dubrow Chateau during its construction over the past couple of years, she said that caution will be exercised when it comes to showing her mansion on RHOC. “There’s certainly aspects of our house we won’t be showing because of security reasons,” she said. “Yes, the house is over-the-top and crazy, but we have a lot of security.”
Kim has continued to keep a low profile after she returned to the United States following the robbery in Paris on October 2. She did not attend the wrap party for the most recent season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians last week. However, her good friend Chrissy Teigen recently told Vanity Fair that Kim is "doing great now."
