Kim Richards Arrested For Shoplifting
Beverly Hills Housewife free on bail after a night in jail.
Kim Richards of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has been released from jail following an arrest on Sunday (August 2) for shoplifting. She was later released on $5,000 bail.
Police tell The Daily Dish that Kim allegedly stole upwards of $600 worth of items from Target on Sunday afternoon. She was placed under a citizen’s arrest before police arrived. She was then taken to the Van Nuys Police Department, where she spent the night before being released on Monday (August 3). She was charged with a misdemeanor.
The case will reportedly be turned over to the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office who will then decide if charges will be pressed.
Back in April, Kim was arrested after an incident at the Beverly Hills Hotel, in which she was charged with three misdemeanors: resisting arrest, public intoxication and battery on an officer. She later went to rehab and just last month it was reported she had been sober for more than 30 days after seeking treatment.
