Kim Zolciak's Assistant Wants the 'Free Sweetie' Campaign to End

Sweetie Hughes claims, "NeNe's traumatizing my life."

By Lauren Metz

The Real Housewives of Atlanta's NeNe Leakes continues to hit a sour note for Sweetie Hughes. "NeNe's traumatizing my life," Kim Zolciak's right hand girl tells Life & Style. "She's bringing hell to it."

Now, now. What's sparking these latest fiery comments? After NeNe continuously accused her former wine-loving buddy of treating Sweetie like a slave, Atlanta radio host Rickey Smiley started the "Free Sweetie" campaign. "They're doing it for Black History Month, and it offends me," Sweetie tells the mag. "They have pastors calling into the radio station and praying for me. They've taken it too far."

For her part, Sweetie sees herself as just the innocent bystander in a friendship triangle gone wrong. "NeNe's jealous that she's not as close to Kim as I am," she says. "I've known Kim for 11 years, since I was a kid. Kim's a great friend to me."

Sweetie's also tweeting jabs back at those criticizing her relationship with her BFF boss. "@Kimzolciak are people serious. I don't say sh** half of the time because I don't know how to respond to ignorance. And life goes on!" she tweeted. "My name is in everybody mouth. How lovely. Keep it going a**holes:)"
