Kristen Taekman Has "No Ill Feelings" for Bethenny

After a rocky start, the #RHONY star opens up about her relationship with the Skinnygirl mogul.

Kristen Taekman and Bethenny Frankel haven't exactly become BFFS this season on Real Housewives of New York. It's been a rough start for the pair since Bethenny's return to the show, but that doesn't mean that Kristen can't empathize with her fellow Housewife. "I have absolutely no ill feelings towards Bethenny," she tells She Knows. "How could I? Both of us have not really had the opportunity to get to know each other that much. She is going through a lot right now, but I look forward to hopefully getting to know her when all the dust settles. Until then, I want to give her all the time and space she needs." Despite clashing over mom duty and trademarking Kristen's Pop of Color, things seemed to be on the upswing for the two ladies during Tuesday night's second episode in Turks and Caicos. They even collaborated on an epic Ramona prank.

Kristen further explains that the dynamics and relationships within their friend group are just like the ones that everyone else has. "To be honest, I haven't ever felt 'boxed out'," she says. "I think that in every group of friends, there are closer friendships within that larger group. I think that half of the women are going through some rough times, whether that's divorce, finance or other things. As far as divorce is concerned, I can imagine that I'm not the first one the women will go to for advice, since I have never experienced it — for which I am grateful."

With that in mind, she does value her relationships with the women she feels closest to in the clique. "I am the closest to Heather, Carole, and LuAnn," she says. "The three of us hit it off immediately. While Heather and I have been friends for years, the bond was instant with the other women." She later adds, "Each of the other women have their own special qualities. Some are more loyal, others more sympathetic and all of them have the capacity to be great friends. The beauty [is that] real friendships have those ups and downs. Ours just happen to be televised."
