There Is One Sex and the City Star Still Hoping That Third Movie Will Get Made

Despite Kim Cattrall being more than certain she is not down for a third Sex and the City flick, Kristin Davis is eternally as optimistic as Charlotte York Goldenblatt. You see, she thinks that maybe, just maybe, a sequel to the franchise can still happen somehow.

Her reaction when asked if she thinks there's still a glimmer of hope for the sequel? “I always have hope!” she told Entertainment Tonight recently.

Since news broke that Cattrall has officially retired from playing the spicy Samantha Jones, there have been lots of ideas and theories about how to handle the situation should a third film still be an option. Ryan Murphy has said that they should just “Recast Samantha!” And, in that vein, there have been contenders making the rounds. Jeff Goldblum has been suggested (jokingly, of course, we think...) to tackle all the roles. Meanwhile, Sia offered her name up as a possible Cattrall replacement. We mean, she's certainly cheeky enough for the part.
