Kyle Dixon's Love Life Revelation Surprised Captain Lee Rosbach and Kate Chastain
But it's not for the reason you might think.
Kyle Dixon is full of surprises this season of Below Deck. In Tuesday night's episode, he revealed that he has dated transgender women, which is something the crew wasn't really expecting to hear from the deckhand.
However, chief stew Kate Chastain explained to The Daily Dish that she was surprised to hear that about Kyle — but not because of his preference in partners. "I think what really surprised me is he was having a relationship with another person," Kate explained, citing Kyle's attempt at wooing Sierra Storm this season (clip above).
Captain Lee Rosbach also said he was a little confused by that, especially since Kyle revealed earlier this season that he had a daughter with another woman. "So is there somebody he hasn't dated, I mean other than you and I?" Captain Lee asked Kate during their interview with The Daily Dish.
Kate speculated that Kyle may be a bit of a player during his high-seas adventures. "He's been traveling on boats for a while. One in every country?" Kate joked.
But Captain Lee wondered if that will eventually catch up with the deckhand, especially now that he's a part of the Below Deck cast. "Wouldn't they all compare notes? I mean, that's got to be fun," Captain Lee said. "I think they're gonna compare notes. It's on national television."
