Kyle Richards Cries Every Time Daughter Alexia Heads Back to Boston for College
The #RHOBH mom always sheds a tear for her 20-year-old daughter.
Kyle Richards and her entire family may be spending the holidays in L.A. this year, but that doesn't mean that her daughter, Alexia Umansky, will be around for long after that, since she attends school in Boston. And while distance might make the heart grow fonder, it also breaks The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom's heart.
“It’s hard having her away, she’s such a home girl,” she told PEOPLE. “When she comes home to visit, which is often, she cries every time she leaves. I cry… it’s hard.”
However, Kyle and Mauricio make time to head East to visit her — and they'll soon have a new city to add to their itinerary.
“I think Boston is an amazing place. I’m happy to know that she’s there. I feel safe and she’s loving it. She’s doing a semester abroad — Barcelona," Kyle teased, adding, “Of course, I’m going to be there!”
