Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky Spill Their Secrets to a Lasting Marriage

"We get along really well, actually better than you see on television!" the #RHOBH mom says.

By Jocelyn Vena

After nearly 20 years, Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky are still going strong. And The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple, who married in 1996, cite their compatibility as the secret to their enduring marriage. "We're a really good match. We get along really well, actually better than you see on television!" Kyle told People. And her real estate mogul hubby seems to agree with that assessment of their relationship.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Peacock and the Bravo App.

"We're best friends. We actually enjoy each other. [Kyle]'s funny, she makes me laugh," Mauricio said. "I don't have big guys nights out; Kyle is the person I want to spend most of my time with." But things aren't always peachy keen between the pair. The couple revealed to People that they do argue, even about the small stuff. "We fight about the temperature in the room," Kyle explained. "He always wants it cold!"

What Kyle can't deny is that her life with Mauricio is one she's "always dreamed" of having. The couple have three daughters together: Alexia, 19, Sophia, 15, and Portia, 7; Kyle also has a daughter Farrah, 27, from her first marriage. In fact, Farrah even works with Mauricio at his real estate firm, The Agency. "I grew up in a divorced family, and I had a very different upbringing. Now I have a husband I'm in love with who I'm excited to see every day and kids who are together and really tight," she said. "Last night I was laughing because we were all in the bathroom, and my husband says, 'Who wants to cut my hair?' All of a sudden three girls are fighting over the scissors. I love those moments."
