Before they found themselves embroiled in all of the drama of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson gave melodramatic turns as Billie Reed in Days of Our Lives and Ashley Abbot in The Young and the Restless, respectively. Now Lisa and Eileen are spilling some of the juciest behind-the-scenes secrets from their time on these famous soaps.
Lisa didn't hold anything back while speaking about her Days of Our Lives co-star Robert Kelker-Kelly, who played Billie's love interest Bo Brady on the series. "I hated Robert Kelker-Kelly, hated him with a passion. He hated me with a passion," Lisa revealed in an exclusive video on Bravotv.com. "We were a volatile combination, and it looked like love and sexual chemisty on camera, so that was some darn good acting right there."
Eileen shared that she thinks Ashley's personality resembles that of a certain RHOBH restaurateur. "Lisa Vanderpump is a high-power businesswoman, and she's running many different things," Eileen said. "That's definitely Ashley. I mean, she's a chemist and the CEO of a company."
But what about the other famous soap character she played, Kristen DiMera from Days of Our Lives? Well, Eileen doesn't really see any of her RHOBH castmates in her, and that's actually a good thing. "Uh no, I can't go there. Nobody," Eileen said. "She rapes priests and kills people. It's a broad stretch. I suppose we all have a bit of Kristen in us."
On the other hand, Lisa said she and Billie are both an "underdog, fighter, survivor, scrapper, hustler." She also thinks many of her RHOBH castmates give off a Billie vibe. "Billie Holiday Reed was a combination of Kim Richards, Brandi Glanville, myself, Kyle Richards, and a little smidge of Yolanda [Foster]," Lisa explained. "People seem to connect to Billie Reed. She was a, you know, really f***ed-up mess. She got herself into situations that were tricky and sticky and hard to get out of. Sound familiar?"
