LuAnn: Charlie Sheen is "Winning" Again

Why the Countess thinks the controversial star is bracing for a comeback.

By Lauren Metz

Goddesses, trolls, and Adonis DNA? Things of Charlie Sheen's past -- and one Countess in particular is pleaesd with the change.

"Charlie Sheen made the right move by apologizing for his outrageous behavior," LuAnn de Lesseps said in her "What Would the Countess Do" column for OK! Magazine after the 46-year-old told Matt Lauer he's kicked the tiger blood. (Although -- disclaimer -- The Real Housewives of New York's royal did throw in, "Time will tell if he's reformed or just saying what he needs to say to work again." Sorry, Charlie.)

Despite LuAnn's concerns, the no-longer-having-a-meltdown actor -- who stars in the new FX sitcom Anger Management -- confided on the Today show, "I couldn't have the Two and a Half thing be my television legacy. I couldn't have it end on that note."

But it's more than Charlie's promises that has the Countess back on his warlock-free bandwagon. "I think he's right to reassure his fans that he's got his act together and is excited to star in the new sitcom Anger Management," she says. "Charlie's father, Martin Sheen, has agreed to guest star on his new show, which tells me more about Charlie's mental health than just his words."

With that sort of progress, maybe LuAnn and Charlie could work together sometime soon. A duet perhaps?

What will be the Countess' next take on Hollywood? Keep up with LuAnn's opinions using our Tweet Tracker.
