LuAnn: Cheating Rumors Caused 'A Little Drama' with Jacques

Little white lies? LuAnn de Lesseps has learned her lesson about those.

"If I was going to have an affair, do you think I would do it with a house full of housewives? It doesn't make sense," the Countess makes her I-Didn't-Hook-Up-with-Johnny-Depp's-Doppelganger defense to The Miami New Times. "I wouldn't have brought him home to a house full of cameras and been knocking on Heather's door. My only mistake was the white lie."



That lie – that she came home with a group of Italian friends and not the guyliner-loving flirt – trickled into another lie, and another, and another. Although the New York Housewife maintains that she and longtime French love Jacques Azoulay are still very much amoureux, her late night girls' night did cause the couple some friction. "Well, there was a little drama," the mom of two, who's hoping to make that three soon, explains. "He is a man. The way it played out, it was a little shocking for both of us."

Still, Jacques is standing by Lu. "It was a comedy of errors, basically. The cover up was worse than the crime. I was having fun, got a ride home, the guy was nice, but I am in love with my boyfriend."
