Luann de Lesseps and Tom D'Agostino "Are Being Supportive and Kind to Each Other" Following Split

Following the news that Luann de Lesseps and Tom D'Agostino confirmed they are divorcing, Tom is opening up about their separation in a statement to E! News: "Tom is sad about the end of the marriage. He and Luann are being supportive and kind to each other."
The pair are also shooting down rumors about what led to the dissolution of their relationship, fending off gossip that infidelity and altercations played a part in their decision to separate. Luann's rep calls that gossip "rubbish and completely false" in a statement to E! News.
The Real Housewives of New York City mom confirmed her marriage to Tom was ending last Thursday. "It's with great sadness that Tom & I agreed to divorce. We care for each other very much, hope you respect our privacy during this sad time!"
She later thanked fans for their support in the wake of the news. "Thank you for the generous expression of warmth, kindness and understanding," Luann tweeted. "Your support and encouragement helps me to get through."
