Meghan King Edmonds and Jim Edmonds Put Their O.C. Home on the Market

You've seen the demo work, and now, Meghan King Edmonds and Jim Edmonds have put their Newport Beach home (yes, the same pad fans see during the current Season 11 of The Real Housewives of Orange County) on the market. The home is reportedly listed for just under $3.4 million, according to The Orange County Register. The decision to sell was made, partly, because the couple are looking to possibly downsize, but also because Meghan is kind of obsessed with flipping houses.

"We're flipping it! We're making money. Money doesn't grow on trees. I want to beautify it and flip it," Meghan told The Daily Dish, sharing that the house was originally home to Meghan, Jim, and his teenage daughter. "That one's big. Hayley was living with us when we moved into that house and now she's in her apartment." 

The five-bedroom home was customized by Meghan, who turned one of the bedrooms into a closet. "We don't need all that space, so I don't know. But we love being close to the water; we're close to the water right now," she said. "But at the same time, that house is awesome, too, so we'd be happy if it doesn't sell. If we make some money that'd be great, otherwise we'll just stay there."

Should it sell, there are two specific features within the home that Meghan will be sad to leave behind. "Gosh, the closet is so awesome. I redid it and designed the closet; it's so awesome. And the kitchen is great, too," she said. "The house just has a really good flow and I'll be sad to leave it. But with all the moving I've done in the past few years, I've been really good at letting go of things and starting over and the thrill of that is, I think, a little bit addictive. I don't like it when I'm doing it, but looking back on it I like it. So I put myself through the torture. I get so obsessed with remodeling the home then it's done and I'm twiddling my thumbs, like, 'What do I do now?' I'm definitely project-driven."

She isn't the only O.C. wife who has moved a lot over the years: Pal Heather Dubrow also has an eye for home design. "If we're talking about square footage, she wins. She's remodeled and designed way more square footage than I ever will touch in my lifetime," Meghan said. "It's so funny cause Jimmy and I are really into real estate and prices and flipping houses and stuff, so we look at the house prices around where she and Terry [Dubrow] are building and we're like, 'Oh they're going up and you can probably sell before you even move in. And here's the price it's going for now.' And Heather's like, 'Stop!' And Terry's like, 'Oh sweet!' So we're really into it."
