Having a baby can be an exciting and scary time for many parents. Meghan King Edmonds is learning that firsthand as she prepares to give birth to her first child with husband Jim Edmonds this holiday season.
Luckily, Meghan has had the support of her Real Housewives of Orange County castmates, all of whom are moms, to help her on the road to motherhood, from hearing about Heather Dubrow's IVF journey to receiving well wishes from Tamra Judge.
Shannon Beador was just as eager to share her advice for Meghan as she embarks on motherhood when The Daily Dish caught up with her earlier this summer. "Well, I always have an opinion, and I always have advice, but I think my advice to Meghan would be to try and create the healthiest environment for her child and to maybe help steer her toward the more healthy products to use, especially in the baby's room where they're living, in the crib. And making sure everything is as non-toxic as possible," said Shannon, who is mom to 14-year-old daughter Sophie and 11-year-old twins Stella and Adeline.
That's exactly what Shannon did when she built her former mansion from the ground up. "When I started to have children, I started to take a bigger interest in providing the most natural environment for my children," she said while giving a tour of her abode filled with organic materials (clip below). "So I hired a green consultant, and he kind of helped guide us along the way."
Now that Meghan has put her house on the market, we'll have to wait and see if she follows Shannon's lead in her new crib.
In the meantime, check out Meghan's abode, as seen on this season of RHOC, below.
